My Husband At Gloryhole

check lost

A checkbook was found in the parking lot. It contained a check ready to cash a large amount from a firm of solicitors. After much research with inquiry services and banking, the owner checkbook and the check recipient could be found then contacted through his bank. 2 days later he ran to the car park to retrieve his property.

He thanked us and sent a letter to the mayor to report honestly and to renew our thanks.

The check came from the sale of a studio and was intended to pay for the retirement home of the mother (102 years) of the gentleman who had lost the check, the amount was 149 000 euros ...

For those who have difficulty reading the document, here is the transcript:

Dear

is to bring to your attention an act of integrity and honesty of one of your employees that I Allow to send you this letter.

Thursday, September 9, around 12:30, I came back to my car at the parking place d'Armes Versailles, facing the castle. Leaving at the notary with a voluminous record, I was pretty crowded.

When paying my car I was stopped by someone who seemed to not know how to use PLC Payment (?). Concentrate on my credit card, I did not pay attention to my bag, then parted, which contained a lot of documents with including a checkbook and a check for large amounts, from the sale the same morning a small studio.

After an exchange with the person, it has moved away and I got my credit card. Got home around 13:30, I began organizing my business to find out when the disappearance of my checkbook and the check from the alienation of the studio.

Despite my excitement, I then took my car to go back to Versailles and to stop payment to the notary and then go to the bank to oppose the checkbook (with a passage meantime the police of Versailles ).

Arriving at the bank, to my amazement, it had just received a call from your employee, Mr. XXXXXX, responsible for the day of parking, noting that they had recovered the car park the checkbook and check the studio!

I was able to recover quickly from Mr. XXXXXX all documents and Mr. XXXXXX refused any reward.

Not knowing how to thank him, I thought his honesty in reporting his employer would be the least of it.

Especially since the sale of the studio owned by my mother (102 years!) Was intended to cover accommodation costs in retirement homes and the loss of the check would have posed a serious problem.

Thank you for your attention, I renew my thanks Mr. XXXXXX and please accept the assurances of my entire account.
